The Stainless Steel 15-5 PH Bars and Rods are a type of martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel, made up of iron, 14–15.5% chromium, 3.5–5.5% nickel, along with trace elements of copper, niobium, and columbium. After heat treatment, the alloy can reach tensile strengths of up to 1310 MPa and yield strengths around 1170 MPa.
